Sep 04, 2015 In Djay, you probably have to go in to MIDI Configure Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2 (or press ⌘Y), and from the MIDI Configuration drop down, make sure the one with all the mappings is chosen (for me, this was TraktorKontrolS4MK2 with underscores rather than spaces). For instance, you are now able to send all four decks from Traktor into an audio interface with only two outputs, sending decks A & C to outputs 1/2 and decks B & D to outputs 3/4, or whatever combination you decide. Nailed it — I theorised about just why Native Instruments would drop the price of the Z2, and the new Traktor Kontrol Z1 is probably in part why. Following the existing “1” form factor, the all-new Kontrol Z1 offers real physical controls for Trakor DJ, as well as being a true mixer modular add-on for Traktor Pro.

REMIX DECKS
One-shot samples and loops on Remix decks blur the lines between DJ and live performance. Insert samples, atmospheric effects, and more into a Remix deck and trigger them in sync with the rest of your mix. Drag a loop you like from another deck to keep it playing in your remix deck for extended mixes.
STEMS
The Stems audio format splits tracks into four musical components, such as drums, bass, vocals, and melody, so you can mix them independently. Edit and re-edit in the heat of the moment, blend basslines and vocals from tracks you know to create tracks you didn’t.
